Dimitrios G. Papadopoulos - Tsayannis
Education and academic awards
- Dimitrios Papadopoulos – Tsayannis was born in Thessaloniki in 1960.
- He graduated from “Anatolia, American College of Thessaloniki.”
- In 1983, he graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School with First Class Honors ranking first.
- In 1984, he received a Graduate Degree (C.E.E.) with Honors in European Economic Community Law awarded by the European Studies Institute of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (U.L.B.) in Belgium. During 1983-1984 he worked as a legal translator at the Council of Ministers of the European Economic Community (E.E.C.) in Brussels.
- As a Rotary Foundation Scholarship recipient, he completed graduate legal studies at Cornell Law School, N.Y., receiving a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Transactions (1985-1986) with First Class Honors.
- As a British Council Scholarship recipient, he attended legal courses at the King’s College School of Law in London, while working at Richards Butler Law Firm (later merged with “Reed Smith” law firm, one of the top 15 law firms worldwide, established in 1877). He also worked at the law firm of Barrister Belinda Bucknall, Q.C.
Professional experience
- Based in Thessaloniki, he has been practicing law all over Greece and abroad since 1985.
- He is a co-founder of INTERLIFE Insurance Company S.A. and Head of its Legal Department.
- He is legal advisor of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (an institution established under the Greek Constitution) and the Foundation of Hellenes Abroad. He participated in the Parliamentary Legal Drafting Committee for the legislation relating to the World Council of Hellenes Abroad (S.A.E.). He participated in the drafting of all Presidential Decrees on the World Council of Hellenes Abroad and the Charter of the Foundation of Hellenes Abroad.
- He is a member of the Committee on Motor Legal Issues of the Association of Insurance Companies of Greece.
- He was a keynote speaker in several conferences held by the Association of Insurance Companies of Greece, the Association of Lawyers of Northern Greece, the Bar Association of Thessaloniki and other Institutions.

Zoi D. Papadopoulou
Education and academic awards
- Zoi Papadopoulou was born in 1993 in Thessaloniki.
- In 2011, she graduated from “Anatolia, American College of Thessaloniki.”
- In 2016, she graduated from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School with First Class Honors, ranking second.
- She received a Master of Science degree (MSc) in Law and Economics, specializing in Law and Economics of Corporations, after completing an interdisciplinary graduate program jointly run by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki Law School and the Department of Economics of the University of Macedonia, graduating as a valedictorian.
- As a «Michael Schwind Scholarship for Global Law» recipient, she completed graduate legal studies at the New York University School of Law obtaining a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in May 2019.
- In June 2020, she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Commercial Law at the University of Cambridge, U.K. As an LL.M. student, she was a member of the Postgraduate Students Council of Selwyn College, University of Cambridge.
Professional experience
- She is admitted to practice as an Attorney in the State of New York and Thessaloniki.
- She has served as treasurer of the European Law Students’ Association (E.L.S.A. – Thessaloniki Branch).
- She has also completed a traineeship at the University of Macedonia, during which she translated chapters of the book “EU Business Law” by Prof. D. Anagnostopoulou.

Kalliopi J. Varsami - Papadopoulou
Education and academic awards
- Kalliopi Varsami was born in 1961 in Thessaloniki.
- She is an alumna of the German School of Thessaloniki.
- In 1984, she graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with First Class Honors.
- As a recipient of a scholarship by the Government of Lower Saxony (Germany), she worked as a researcher at the Hannover University Law School, participating in a German - Greek project mainly focusing on the translation of the reformed Greek Family Legislation to German.
- As an “Athens Institute of Civil Procedure Studies” scholarship recipient, she worked as a Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Law of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She gave several lectures to graduate students on International Procedural Law and also taught German Legal Terminology.

- In 1987, she started practising law in Thessaloniki.
- In 1992, she was appointed as Notary Public in Thessaloniki.
- In 1993, she was appointed as Member of the Committees of the International Union of Latin Notaries.
- In 1995, she participated as a lecturer in the World Public Notaries Conference in Berlin.

Miranda D. Papadopoulou

- Miranda Papadopoulou was born in 1993 in Thessaloniki.
- She graduated from “Anatolia, American College of Thessaloniki” in 2011.
- In 2017, she graduated from the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

- She is a member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association since 2019 and practices law in close collaboration with Interlex Law Firm and Notary Public Kalliopi I.Varsami.
